The Send Font to RIP option lets you add special fonts to RIP-Queue and Preflight. Most Double-byte, Composite, and Encrypted Fonts must be added by interpreting a PostScript file that contains the font information.

Adding a Font Using Send Font to RIP

1. Click Setup > PostScript > Send Font to RIP. This opens a browser window.
2. Browse to the PostScript file that contains the information for the font you want to add.
3. Click Open. The file is opened, interpreted, and added to RIP-Queue and Preflight.

NOTE: The only way you can verify that the font was added successfully is to process a file that uses that font.
